How to use Student Support
On Student Support you will find instruction manuals, learning materials and answers to your questions about WUR's digital university. It is question driven and in English, just like the educational systems Wageningen University & Research uses.
This manual describes how you can use Student Support and search for the information you need about WUR's digital university.
Student Support Homepage
1. Navigation bar
The navigation bar comes with some handy links.
1. The WUR logo and Home buttons bring you back to Homepage in Student Support.
2. ANS refers you to the digital platform for your online exams.
3. Brightspace brings you to WUR's online learning environment where you can find all the courses you are registered to.
4. myWURtoday is an app version of the digital systems of the university (with a web version on myWURtoday.wur.nl).
5. Osiris links you to the student information system where you can enroll for courses and check your study progress.
2. Search bar
In the Search bar you can ask questions like "How can I enroll for courses" or type keywords like "enroll". Click on Search to see all the result for your search words
NB. You can only do this in English.
3. Articles
To find out and learn more about a subject or system, you can go to a specific manual. In the manual you find an overview of questions and instructions.
TIP: Always start with the Getting started on each page. This gives you a quick start to each item.

A selection of articles explaining how to use digital systems of WUR such as Osiris, Brightspace, TimeEdit and the WUR Appstore.
Articles explaining how to use the app and the desktop version. For example:

Osiris is the student information system of Wageningen University. In Osiris, you can find information about your courses, tests, study progress and study programme. Most important, via Osiris you can enroll yourself to courses and tests, plan and approve your electives, browse the course catalogue and request additional facilities and services.
The articles in this category mainly concern the use of Brightspace. You can find manuals about:
- Discussions, Groups and Email
- Grades
The WUR Appstore can be used to downloaded the needed softwares used in a course to your laptop. In this section you can find manuals on how to download apps such as ArcGIS, Maple, MatLab and others.
The articles in this category will help you prepare to your digital exam. You can find the frequently asked questions here. We highly recommend reading these articles before your remote digital exam.
Here you can browse and learn about the rules and guidelines of the university on the use of AI. For more AI-related questions, there are several people you can approach. Contact your lecturer or course coordinator for questions about the use of AI in a specific course. With questions on AI in literature research, you can contact the library ([email protected]).
