Flexible inspection

After each exam period and resit period, flexible inspection dates are scheduled. You can find the dates and locations in the Schedule tab of your myWUR app.

During a flexible inspection, you can review your Ans on-campus exams of the previous (resit)period -both digital and print&scan. Please note that not all Ans exams may be available for inspection. You can check with your teacher when in doubt.

You may join the inspection at any point during the time slot. Checking in right at the start is not required, feel free to enter later if that is more convenient for you.

Please come alone and bring only your laptop, WUR card, and a pen. You can use the lockers near the inspection room for all your other belongings (coat, bag, mobile phone, etc.) or you can place them under your table.

At the check-in, you will receive a blank sheet for notes and a manual on how to ask your teacher(s) questions and view their responses via Ans.

You can take notes, but they must be in English or Dutch. They will be checked before you leave/check-out. If we suspect that questions or model answers have been copied, we will retain your notes and consult your teacher(s) to determine whether they can be returned or must be securely destroyed.

How to log in to a published assignment and check your results

The inspection of your exam is secured with the Schoolyear browser.

Go to https://ans.app/ and, on the main page, select the exam you wish to inspect under Published assignments:

Schoolyear will automatically open, and you can log in the same way as you did when taking your exam. Once your exam is open, click on View answers .

You will then be able to see the questions, your answers, the correct answer option for automatically graded questions, and any model answers or feedback provided by your teacher.

How to start a discussion in Ans

During the inspection if needed, you can use the option Discussion in Ans to ask questions on the exam. The teacher will answer your questions later. When you check in, you'll receive a printed manual on how to use the Discussion option and how to heck the answer from the teacher in Ans. Below you'll find the digital manual.
