To enrol in a team within MS Teams using a link, your teacher should provide you with a link to join the team. Most likely it will be placed in your course's Brightspace environment.

1. Click the link

The link will open in a new window that will redirect you to Microsoft’s launcher. Here you can choose to open the meeting in the desktop app or in the browser. Once you open MS Teams, a new window will pop-up asking you to join the team.

2. Click Join

Your request will be sent to the lecturer.

3. Once your lecturer accepts your request, you will receive a notification and will be able to access the team.

To enrol in a Team using a team code, your teacher should provide you with code ( example: utdsw25). To join the team, go to MS Teams via the desktop app or the browser.

1. Navigate to the Teams tab on the left

2.  Click in Join or create a Team

In the left side of the aplication window a list with teams you are part of will appear. At the top, by default, you will see two options: Create a team and Join a team with a code;

3. Add the code to the box under Join a team with a code.

4. Click Join team

You now know how to access a team within MS Teams!
