By clicking on this tab you will access the page with a list of all global announcements made. Here you will also be able to manage your notification settings, such as changing your email or even add a mobile phone number to receive notifications on; i.e. announcements, activity feeds, content change.

Under this tab you will find:

• Calendar - the general calendar of the Wageningen University & Research.
• Progress - an overview of your personal progress in courses you are enrolled in with the role of a student.

Via the Discover tool it is possible to search for active courses and self-enroll. In addition, it is possible to unenroll yourself from the courses you self-enrolled in.

By clicking on Help you will be able to access the Brightspace Help for Students, a database of instructions and information on how to use the Brightspace Learning Environment at WUR.

Here you can also perform a System Check at any time, to ensure that your browser is properly configured to use the system.

Finally, you can give feedback on the use of Brightspace through a MS Form.

On the Brightspace WUR homepage you can see in the My Courses widget a picture and name of a course that you recently searched for or pinned. These are called thumbnails, and provide an easy overview, identification of and access to your courses (the thumbnail is clickable).

The thumbnail of a course will show the following information:

1. The course image (banner)
2. The course name
3. The course code
4. Optionally:
   • icons of: Assignment submissions, Quiz submissions, Discussion posts
   • Pin icon (if the course was pinned)
