What is the difference between planning in the PlanApp and enrolling in Osiris Student?
You can use the Osiris PlanApp to plan your individual study programme and to request approval for your electives.
This manual describes the difference between planning your study program in the PlanApp and enrolling for courses in Osiris Student.
You can use the PlanApp for planning your own study program including potential specialization and/or minor. The planning you create in the PlanApp gives an overview of when you want to follow what courses. When your study planning is complete and/or approved, this does not mean that you are automatically enrolled for the courses in your planning.
To enrol and thus really follow the courses in your planning, you have to enrol yourself via Osiris Student. So, after you planned your courses in the PlanApp, don’t forget to enrol in Osiris. In Osiris you can already enrol for all courses in the academic year at once. Once you are enrolled and are following a course, you cannot remove the course from your planning in the PlanApp. For other reasons why you cannot remove a course for your planning, see the manual What to do when I cannot delete a course from my planning?.
