How to pre-enrol in Modular Skills Training (MOS courses)?
For Modular Skills Training (MOS courses) the enrolment procedure is slightly different to other courses. First, you have to select 5 to 7 preferences. After the pre-enrolment deadline the university will assign you to 3 ECTS of MOS courses, based on the preferences indicated and the capacity limits of specific MOS courses. The day on which the MOS-course is taught, is taken into account. This registration is final and you'll receive a notification about this by email.
BE AWARE: by default you give preferences to take 3 credits of MOS courses per period.
When you need to take either 1.5, 4.5 or 6 ECTS worth of MOS courses in one period, please first register the preferences (explained in the manual below) and (after that) email to [email protected] including a short (1 sentence) explanation why you're planning on attending a deviating number of credits. Please mention your student number and the relevant period in the email, to help us process your request. Submit this request at the registration deadline at the latest, as the request will be processed immediately after this deadline.
NOTE: attending MOS courses is limited to students registered in an MSc programme of Wageningen University (i.e. not open to BSc-students or guest students).
NOTE: each MOS course has a full afternoon of activities with mandatory attendance. A combination with ACT (YMC60809) or similar AMC courses is possible, but a combination with most other afternoon-courses is NOT possible.
NOTE: 2 MOS courses (of 1.5 ECTS each) can be combined in 1 period (or for period 3+4 in the 2 combined periods) with ACT (YMC60809), adding up to 12 credits for that period. However, some MOS courses can not be combined with ACT, please see the course description.
NOTE: each MOS course is taught on a specific day of the week, please check this in the course description.

How to disenrol for MOS courses?
Disenrol for MOS courses is not possible through Osiris-Student at this moment. When you wish to disenrol you have to send an email to [email protected]. When you email prior to the deadline for pre-enrolment of MOS courses, your preferences will be removed and you will not be enrolled in a MOS course.
When you email to disenrol after the pre-enrolment the deadline, you will be marked down with a 'NOSHOW' grade in Osiris Student for the assigned MOS courses. This has no direct negative consequences, and will not show on your diploma supplement. Only when you don't show up twice in one academic year, it might have consequences.
